Sixteen years figuring out how light behaves — through cameras, through render engines, and now through diffusion models. The substrate keeps changing; the work hasn’t. How does a frame feel inevitable? What makes an image hold up? Why does this version land and that one doesn’t?
I build tools so other artists can spend their time on those questions instead of fighting the pipeline. I keep shooting film, because the camera trains the eye in ways nothing else does. I mentor through ACCESS:VFX, and contribute enthusiastically to the ComfyUI community at Zerospace Brooklyn.
Most of the tools here came out of teaching someone else how to do something I’d built three times. The pattern: solve it badly once, ship it, watch where it breaks, then write the version that doesn’t. Documentation isn’t an afterthought — it’s how a workflow survives in production.
