**USD composition for cognitive state** Layers compose. Stronger opinions override weaker ones. Context can be muted, soloed, or swapped without losing the rest of the stack. The same semantics that make USD scenes manageable at scale make cognitive state legible to an AI coach.
**Persistent, addressable context** Sessions don't restart from zero. The coach knows what was true yesterday, what the working patterns are, and what signals to watch for — because those are explicit layers, not buried in a prompt somewhere.
